Playstation Eye – Seeing Educational Possibilities?

So the technology is here to be able to scan drawing and input them in to a visual application… if this was improved and adapted could it be used to teach a geometry class to visualize what teachers or students were drawing? Could you theoretically teach such a class via long distances?

Just a thought.

Never mind that… the game they’re demonstrating seem pretty darn cool. Now you can draw your own spaceships or video game landscapes..or at least rough outlines of them.

    gaming machine like playstation…and the accessories like eye toy etc, are becoming more n more useful. even PC games like tactical or strategy…people are modifying them for educational purpose.

    This can take learning to a whole new level. It’s amazing what transformation technology is bringing to our world of learning.

    Yes, I’m really excited about the possibilities. Also I think that this can also help render gaming play into an a more creative process.
